Congratulations to the Ojedas for being our January member(s) of the month! They were one of our first members to sign up back in September, and right away they made a huge impact. Beside their delicious Ice Cream and desserts they make (check out @treshuevostx on socials), they are also incredibly kind and thoughtful people. We had them chosen right away as one of our first few members of the month because of how helpful they’ve been to us. They are constantly helping with events and both of them have come up with incredible ideas on how to grow the gym. They don’t just make an impact on our gym community, but the Pearland community as a whole. You are missing out if you don’t go check them out at the Pearland Farmer’s market at Independence Park (look for tres huevos), and their pet rescue/grooming/boarding at Pearland Barkway. How long have you been working out for?
Des - almost my whole life starting with football at 10 Kat - off an on almost my whole life as well since gymnastics at 4 years old
What is your primary goal for coming to AR?
Kat - Get back to my level of fitness and body positivity I was at 5 years ago.
Des - support my friends staying fit
What keeps you motivated to come back?
Kat - I can tell I'm getting stronger already and I can't wait to hit my goals
Des - The community
What is your favorite thing about AR?
Kat - The community, the coaching and that it's so close to home
Des - Our friends are there and run it.

Des - Bowel movement, jk, Deadlifts
Kat - anything on the rig or deadlifts

Kat - scuba diving

What’s one piece of advice for someone starting out in their fitness journey?
Kat - missing a workout or going off your diet happens , forgive yourself and get back on track again
Des - it's not about the end goal it's about the journey
